Hello all! Im Amy, and I’ve been in love with hair for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom ran an in-home daycare, and I’d often practice braiding and curling the kids’ hair—especially when they had a special occasion to attend. My cousin, who was just a few years older than me, also took the same path, and her influence helped me realize that becoming a hairstylist was my calling. Outside of the salon, I’m a proud wife to my wonderful husband, George, whom I married in 2021. We share our home with a sweet and loving Bernedoodle named Lykos, who always keeps us on our toes and is just as silly as he is sweet. I may be a little just obsessed with him haha! I’ve been working in the beauty industry since 2008, and over the years, I’ve refined my craft and found my niche. I specialize in precision cutting, styling, special occasion/bridal styling and keratin treatments, but I also enjoy adding a splash of color and helping clients with non-invasive hair replacement options. Every day, I look forward to connecting with my guests and helping them feel their best selves. There’s something incredibly rewarding about making someone’s day by creating a look they love. I started my career at Tricoci Oak Brook, where I spent 1.5 years in their training program, specializing in cutting and styling. I worked there until 2021, when I decided to work closer to home. This foundational training shaped me into the stylist I am today. Since then, I’ve made it a priority to stay up-to-date with industry trends and continue my education, whether it’s learning new techniques or revisiting the fundamentals. One thing I want my clients to know is that I’m deeply passionate about my work. I take the time to listen to your needs, understand your goals, and provide a tailored experience that leaves you feeling confident and happy with your look. I love working with all hair types, and I thrive in the creative environment where every day is a new opportunity to make magic happen! I can't wait to meet you and hear your story 💗
CANCELLATION POLICY
Life happens—I get it! If you need to cancel your appointment, please give me at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 30% of the service cost. This helps me manage my schedule and offer the spot to someone else. Thanks for your understanding! 🫶
